Highland Hires New Director of Sales-Retail & In-Store Bakery
September 21, 2009—Highland Baking Co. has appointed Bob Imbordino as the Director of Sales–Retail and In-Store Bakery. In joining the family-owned and operated bread company, Imbordino brings with him 28 years of experience in the baked goods industry and a passion for making and enjoying delicious breads.
After training as a chef, Imbordino started his career owning and operating his own bakery. He then moved on to sales to in-store bakeries and over the last 23 years he’s represented a wide array of products, ranging from breads to yeast to pies to cookies. These experiences have given him a specific understanding of the needs of retail and in-store bakeries and their customers.
In moving forward with Highland, Imbordino will work with President and Founder Jim Rosen and Vice President Stu Rosen to structure the new Retail and In-store Bakery Division along with helping groceries, delis and other retail stores build bread programs that meet their customers’ satisfaction.
